They say we eat the equivalent in size to a credit card of plastic (microplastics) *every week*, on average. Most plastics have phthalates, BP(x), and other carcinogens. Consumer Reports magazine did a dive into it. They found the worst are actually those pressed particle cardboard-look alike "to go" boxes that many fast food joints and cafeterias have. Plastics also line the inside of wrappers. They build new houses with plastic hot and cold water lines.
Your bottle fed baby is probably out of a plastic jar. The more you wash it, particularly with hot or boiling water, the more and more in leaches into the milk.
Look inside your fridge and pantry. Look for ways to get away from plastic. Glass and stainless is king.

Iron skillets as well. Go to your local thrift store and buy old ones. Clean them with food oil and salt (use your fingertips), scrub to clean rust etc. but not the patina. Wash with mild soapy water and dry on the stove with a bit of heat.

Find your local farmer, rancher, homesteader or prepper. Start buying your food as close to it's source as possible. It'll help mitigate this some.

How much cancer have these radionuclides caused that we blame on other sources? These radionuclides will be around for thousands of years in our crops, milk, water and just about everything else. Edit: It is shit they add to plastic. Literally all your food that touches plastic will have this. So it is not limited to any restaurant.
