I wonder if there is an oversaturation level at which fear based propaganda will cease to be effective. Those susceptible will be so terrified that their minds just shut off, like some sort of trauma based dissociation. Those who are immune to fear based propaganda just become more proficient in seeing it. Though, they really aren't trying to get the small number who are immune, they aren't trying to convince people of anything, just providing the rationalization for people who want to be afraid, so that they can embrace the protection of the State with a clear conscience. These people are being made terrified of a disease that is now endemic in wild animal populations. The notion that killing their pets will do anything about it is insane. But, it's not about doing anything about it, it's all about the fear. The fear is all about power and control. Same shit different day.
