Wow I remember listening to Coast to Coast back in the early 90s. What a great man and a great show. I used to call in from time to time - that was a thrill.
I even rode my motorcycle out to check out this mysterious Kingdom of Nye and Pahrump. Pro tip: There’s not much there. Although half my mom’s side of the family comes from Nye County. (Found that out about 20 years later.)
If you’re ever in Pahrump and want a good breakfast, go to the restaurant in the casino and get the $2 breakfast. Yes. $2. And you get 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 toast and a GIANT orange juice. Nice people there.
