Does this have any relation to the supposed Egyptian princess Scota who fled to the isles and settled in Scota-Land? Or are these 2 different royal families/tribes?
They are parallel stories. Like those of the legendary King Arthur. The truth is somewhere buried in these old histories that have been mostly destroyed. What's preserved has been embellished here and there through time.
I've heard the story you bring up, though I forget the details.
Edit: Scota would have settled in Scotia (Ireland). Later, the Scotians migrated across to what would be called Scotland.
Yes, unfortunately the truth of these royal lineages have been obscurred by time and myth. My research into the problem of our people being followed and persecuted to the ends of the earth has landed back in the time of the Egyptians. Supposedly the most ancient of the mummies have blonde and red hair and blue eyes. Supposedly the people in the British Isles are more genetically related to King Tut than modern-day Egyptians. I wonder if the true Egyptian royalty who enslaved the Israelites ended up in Europe. Or were the Gomer tribe the descendents of Abraham and so forth?
Funny you bring up King Arthur, that story has many layers for sure.
