Patton's autobiography includes a passage where he says he was against colored troops but then sees them in battle and changes his opinion of them. Was that an (((alteration))) made after he was dead, another Anne Frank-style doctoring of a diary?

Even Wikipedia will begrudgingly admit that blacks in the service were robbing and raping their way across Europe and Japan. Everyone who was in Vietnam knows that they were 100% useless at best, and race-rioting team-killers at worst.

What was the logic behind drafting niggers anyhow?

There is a good book about this problem: McNamara's Folly.
