I'm not arguing for Iconoclasts, I'm saying that His Trinity is perfect, where men are not. Men can easily fall for the vices, therefore, it is a great risk surrendering yourself to one, but there is no risk in surrendering yourself to God.

Do you mean surrendering yourself to a vice, or to a man? It’s ambiguous here. I think you’re talking about surrendering to a man-who-would-be-king. In which case, of course there’s risk. But it’s no greater risk than surrendering yourself to a mob.

Problem with government; we don’t ever really have a choice, unless we are doing the conquering. So it really boils down to a choice of whether to conquer, or to be conquered.

The great thing about surrendering to God, ultimately, is that you’re free to do that, regardless if what form of earthly government you find yourself subject to.
