Mosin is my favourite rifle on the shelf right now, and that probably has a little more recoil than the musket. At the time I'm pretty sure I was under ten years old, so just about everything had a stiff recoil to me. The camping was great, but I can't say I've done any of that in somewhere over a decade. Haven't even thought of it. I guess sometimes you get so busy in life you forget what you allowed yourself to miss out on. Well, now I'm waxing nostalgic. That, and the pastor was one of the main organizers of the camps, and when the church got big he got too rich to hang with the rest of us, so things fell apart, and also we got kicked out of that church.
