churchill’s own writings prove it was 110% his wish to declare war no matter what Germany did. I’d have to dig up what it was called but I had read there was a full scale military invasion planned by Fance and Britain to invadevand cut Stalin off from the Ukraine grain belt as close as 2 weeks before Germany did first. It would be interesting to see the record of how many top level state department heads were swapped out in allied country’s in the 6 months before Britain started the war.
