So fuck jews but I did some googling and it seems that circle in Hebrew is מעגל, which is pronounced ma’ ahgal, not kikel

Yiddish, not hebrew.

Interestingly enough, there are some theories that the term was also used by American jews when referring specifically to immigrant jews.
