This is the middle east though. Surely you are not saying Christianity was the default religion everywhere?

The pagan pantheon was worshiped by all ancient civilizations before Rabbi Jesus came and preached otherwise.

Your quote is about Hebrews saying they will eliminate the "false gods", which basically just proves our point that Jews are against the Demons. This is because Demons are the Gentile Gods and not monsters like Rabbis describe.
