The swastika together with the Egyptian key of life was used by the early Christians long before they adopted the cross as the symbol of their religion. It is a remarkable fact that the cross is absolutely absent in the oldest Christian catacombs of Rome.

Did they even realize that the swastika is backwards. the tips are pointed counterclockwise not clockwise. There are 2 versions each taken from it's peoples history. Myself I believe it's just a basic drawing of how to build a fortification since a building like that would repeal arrows and stones and if sturdy enough even catapult flung rocks.

Swastika would make a weak fortification, this is what the white man would use

You don't want flat walls facing the enemy. Nor would you want your defneders to run around from one arm of the swastika to the other because the outer walls aren't connected in a swastika shaped castle wall.

This is a good video on star castle formations and how they fair in sieges. https://youtu.be/iQG7iVaFSGs
