When the bar tenders find out there was a Declaration of Independence written up, they panicked, saying "We're going to want to be on the winning side right?", to which the other guy says "The British of course... I know! We need to draft a declaration of *dependence* and spy on the sons of liberty to earn the favor of the British!" They inadvertently end up assisting the revolution by selling shoddy guns to the British, and through a comedy of errors, the British are defeated.
