Compare these "amenities" to those in the gulags. Compare the structures at Auschwitz to those at the Kolyma gulag and then take into account the Kolyma region has six month long winters with average temps as low as -36F. Now consider that Auschwitz existed for only 6 years while it was possible to spend over 40 years in Kolyma. It's absurd how anyone can consider the concentration camps worse than the gulags. It's almost like the people who founded Kolyma get to write out history books and conveniently forgot about it.

Oy Vey!
My personal favorite was how nazis knew to build the camps dependent upon post war treaty borders.
