Ok: Dunkirk Shift in tactics during Battle of Britain Delay of Barbarossa, then failure to adhere to strategic goals relative to v. Kleist and Guderian army groups. Failure to support Afrika Korps In parallel: failure to fund Me-262 in '39 Failure to develop small arms, insisting on 98k for troops. While Germany made many wonderous weapons during the war, the net result of many of them was net loss to the war effort. The constant shifting of troops is sometimes baffling as well.

The wildest theory I've read about the third reich, hitler and wwII was that, hitler was initially secretly backed by wallstreet to fuck the city of london. And hitler sent rudolf to scotland to negociate a deal with UK as in "look, we're willing to turn on our backers if you're willing to share the british empire with us" to which the brits replied with a fuck you, then wallstreet/US got wind of the backstabbing attempt, and made a 180 turn on their previous decision to not enter the war

Of course, there's no hard evidence to support that theory, it's just one of the many attempts to make sense of the various inconsistencies surrounding the whole affair
