Not to mention it was England that imported slavery over here to begin with.
It's like hating the republicans when the democrats where the ones shooting black people if they signed up to vote just after the civil war. But he would never do that.
When you say the English imported slavery, you must mean the Jewish East End of London in coordination with Dutch, Spanish, and Portuguese Jews expelled from Spain following the reconquest. The settlers in the colonies and the British common populace so thoroughly loathed what their leaders got them into, they went to war specifically to end it.
This.
I'm saying the English ruled the colonies, and they are complicit in bringing and codifying slavery here that already existed there. As opposed to saying America was the origin of modern slavery, as is so popular to say now.
If you want to conflate this with other ancillary details, as some way of arguing othewise, go right ahead.
Cry for me. Cry for not saying your pet bullshit just the way you want.
Good point, at that age and time the British was the most powerful empire. The slaves were chosen from Africa, because they were available not black. But the jew thing is like it could have some effects on it, like to what extent Africans were shiped to the US. I think they were imported a bit above the limit at the time.
