Meconium ALMOST ALWAYS stays in the child until after birth. If it doesn't, it's hazardous. It's a problem. It's the off case. It is not the normal.

What he is saying is that babies rarely pass meconium while in the womb. It is nothing like the feces after the child has begun to feed. And it is such dangerous complication that it can lead to the death of both mother and child.
