You have created a strange paradox then. If you make better decisions after you've had at least one drink, then technically your best decision was the one where you decided to have at least one drink. Even if you have a really good idea because of your decision to have a drink, the decision to have a drink was actually a better one since it allowed you to have that other good decision. You made your best decision while sober yet your drink-less decision led to another better decision. I think that means your best decisions are actually made sober which enables you to make better decisions after imbibing. Which decision is best then?
