I’ve walked on a glacier near where I grew up, it was real. It took three different tries to reach it by vehicle but eventually we made it by snowmachine.
They’re real but made of styrofoam.
I live very close to Mt Rainier and have walked on the glaciers. I have also seen crevasses open up in them and people fall into them and die. They fall into the crevasse and when they hit the ground they slide under and are gone. Occasionally someone will come out the bottom that was lost many years before.
Glaciers just look fake because they're so fantastic.
