Horses, as much as cows, sheep, chickens and dogs, have been selectively bread by people (not niggers) to increase their useful traits, each domesticates species has been bred to improve the characteristics which were beneficial to the survival of people. In the case of horses, that is a robust build that is capable of performing physically strenuous work in a fairly efficient way. They are built for endurance and can travel long distances or work for long periods. This was the innate ability of early horses, wild horses likely found in the Eurasian steps. Humans domesticated them and over thousands of years transformed them into the myriad of horse breeds, each one suited to it's particular role, from the Shetland Pony to the Percheron and Clydesdale. This is not so much a relationship of master and slave, as it is a mutually beneficial relationship between the horse and it's owner. The horse helps the owner, who in return provides feed, shelter and safety that the horse would otherwise be lacking. Both are better off, and the horse very often greatly enjoys the "burden".
Got a buddy who drives and has wagons of all kinds that talked my gf out of her lil’ mini horse named Bullet so he could train him to pull a little surrey. That lil’ shit took to it instantly. I mean he loves it! He sees Dale come out of the barn with harness and surrey he absolutely loses his shit with excitement. Funniest damn thing to see. Dale is a big ol’ boy sit’n on this down sized lil’ wagon with lil’ horse proud as a peacock goin’ down the road. Dale soon got him a buddy to team with and they pull this lil’ stagecoach around. They both trot on down the road like they was the cock of the walk. Cutest damn thing you ever seen. They love it!
