Bedcels cope and seethe. Real men fall asleep at the wheel of a car.

I slept on the floor for 10 years. I honestly miss it at times. I have platform bed with a futon mattress. I had to get some extra foam stuff for my bf's side because it's too hard for him. I think it's just preference.

For pillow I use one of those Japanese husk pillows. I've tried every pillow known to man and it's either that or my arm. Memory foam holds me too still, fluffy my pillow is too fluffy or I sink too far or it just makes my neck stiff. Weird shaped hard pillows were a little too tall and made my neck stiff.

I sound whiny but really I like blankets, blankets, and more blankets and a hard surface. One of those thin camping mats on wood would be ideal. No one would ever share my bed with me then, though and nothing beats a real person to snuggle up to and sniff.

Buckwheat hull pillow is excellent

I used to sleep on a wooden plank as a kid it straightens out your spine and stops you from sleeping too long. My father was military so he did it to toughen me up. Now me and the wife use a bed and pillows with a blanket though.
