The idea being that if you want to see all posts of a particular tag/flare in a sub you can click on it like you can click on a website name to see all posts for that website.

However, it would be only in that sub. That or having a way in the search (in a sub) to select tags that have been used to filter by.

Flairs are custom (created/defined by sub owners/mods), so your search will not work as intended and will consume lots of resources for nothing.

Yeah, I thought it would be a nice function to have but since they are custom and there can be duplicates it would end up just being a lot more work than it's worth and I have a feeling not many people would use it anyway.

I had a thought while I was looking at stuff and posted but probably should thought a bit longer about it.

You can use the advanced search. There are many ways to search for content.
