In an ideal, high-trust, white society, it would probably be good if anybody could write a poem.
But you have to be realistic about the society we actually live in.

I'm all for all responsible Poets being able to practice their craft, but you are living in a fantasy-land if you think common-sense Poetry legislation isn't needed.
