iCloud already has "silent filtering" so, even encrypted, they are being screened. Apple does have the patent to "censor text messages" and created it under the guise of preventing unwanted sexting. This patent was filed in 2008. So.... they already know how to see your text messages, even encrypted. If you need sources, I can get them, but that should be enough to kickstart your Google Fu.
