How would an SMS carrier stop texts sent through iMessage, wire, signal, and the like?

Yep. I use a cb base station. If you can get one with SSB capability.
It's already happening and we've already tested it. Certain links will not reach the receiver, but will not show as a failed text message.

SMS. Not an app.
Vaccine studies. I don't know precisely what link, but it was a study that discussed finding contaminants in vaccines and pointed out the manufacturers let them examine many vaccines, but refused to let them examine the manufacturing plant to determine where the contamination was coming from.
