Almost everyone of of them that I interview is incapable of actually doing the work. We'd be screwed if we didn't require them to complete a practical exam. For fucking servicenow development. That's how bad it is. They lie through their teeth, use chatgpt to answer questions, you can't understand half of what they say, and I swear to god they're basically soulless. They have no personalities, nothing really going on in their eyes, just like they're on autopilot, like really smart monkeys or something, somewhere between ape and human. Not all of them but most of them. All of them that I've interviewed. I did know two really smart ones, but I'm pretty sure they were upper caste, they weren't like the mongoloids coming in on H1Bs.
And what a bullshit process. You pay a bunch of money to hire an unqualified candidate that probably won't be there in three years and gives everyone in the office bed bugs. It's bullshit.
I'm forced to interview them. My company is going woke. I interviewed elsewhere this afternoon. No idea if they're woke. They didn't ask me my pronouns so I'm hopeful.
