Most of the people in the H-1B program should not be in the first place. Not only do they keep American's from getting jobs but most companies abuse the H-1B program and the people in it to pay dirt wages for skilled work.

From the post:

>The US Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) last October proposed new rules to reform the H-1B visa program following its acknowledgement of widespread fraud in April last year. At that time, USCIS, part of the Department of Homeland Security, announced it had "undertaken extensive fraud investigations" based on suspicions that certain employers – such as some IT outsourcers – were attempting to abuse the H-1B lottery process by submitting multiple visa applications for the same person.

A group I work with were trying to hire on 3 people. They ended up cycling through 5-6 H-1B's before the team told the manager they would only work with a prem resident or citizen. So far all of the 'new' hires are still there.

Attempting to work with the H-1B's was impossible. Even if they could follow written instructions they would find some way to either screw up or take a week to get done with something that should take an hour.
