A Los Angeles-area politician is reportedly in trouble with the feds after calling on violent thugs to take on ICE officers trying to enforce federal immigration law.

As Fox News’s Bill Melugin reported, Cynthia Gonzalez, the vice-mayor of Cudahy, posted a social media video last week expressing her anger at the fact that some of the area’s most notorious gangs were nowhere in sight at the anti-ICE protests that tore up LA. Cudahy is a heavily Hispanic city located about 10 miles from LA.

“I’m told Cynthia Gonzalez posted the video late last week, then deleted it, and that the FBI later visited her home & she is under active federal investigation,” Melugin wrote on X.

In the video, Gonzalez can be seen ripping into the 18th Street and Florencia 13 gang members for staying quiet and supposedly hiding while ICE officers were conducting immigration sweeps in LA.

“I wanna know where all the cholos are at in Los Angeles, Gonzalez says in the video. “18th street, Florencia, Where’s the leadership at? Because you guys are all about territory…You tag everything up, and now that your hood is being invaded by the biggest gang there is (ICE), there ain’t a peep out of you!”

“It’s everyone else who’s not about the gang life that’s out there protesting and speaking up. We’re out there, like, fighting for our turf,” she added. “Dude, they’re running amok all up in your street and your city.

Gonzalez closed by demanding in colorful terms that the leaders of 18th Street and Florencia 13 organize their members and go after ICE.

“So don’t be trying to claim no block, no nothing if you’re not showing up right now trying to help out…So whoever is in leadership over there, just f**king get your members in order!” . .
