Ok, this is a bit of tangent but stick with me... So, I'm not a fan of PETA but have you ever investigated "kosher" slaughter? Pretty sure PETA did as have others. From my view it's brutality that is not necessary.

My farming kin always tried to make slaughter calm, swift, and clean (as is possible for such an event). Small bore rifle slug to the brain then bleed them. No need to put the animal through a lot of stress at their end.

You'll find all this BS on reddit and elsewhere claiming kosher and halal slaughter are the MOST humane methods. If you are inclined to believe such BS, I give you a pretend choice as if you're ready for slaughter: You can get the pneumatic cylinder (or small bore rifle round) to the skull to render you unconscious before your throat is cut or you can be completely aware and conscious as moshe or muhamed take a knife to your throat. What's your pick and why? Now I know we didn't always have rifle slugs and pneumatic cylinders. In the old days they had a guy with a small head hammer that straddled the corral and knocked them out first. In the really old days, sure, we all probably just cut the animals' throats. But who moved on to more humane means and who didn't?

Here's my point... These self described "chosen" peoples call you a name that equates you with cattle. How do they treat their cattle? Their method likely induces far greater fear in the animal just before it dies. Who else have we heard "allegedly" does something similar for purely evil purposes? What's a common thread of psychopathic serial killer criminal profiles regarding the treatment of animals? God's creatures and gift of nutrition and sustenance?

Maybe I'm just a rambling old man but just another thing I've noticed and pondered.

PS - I don't pay the kosher tax and neither should you.
