You can use vid8.
I've set up a backup system running twice a day, so there's no more risk of losing anything anymore. I've learned my lesson believing the host would have a redundant backup system for their storage VPS.
I use vid8 for new videos I want to upload that aren't already on there, but haven't done much uploading for to vid for some time. To cut down on duplicate videos stored on vid8 though, I do a temp video host for a video that I then archive to use as the link when I post a restoration link for you to restore a dead vid8 video.
Just tested this https://tmpfiles.org/ site for temporary storage and archived that video. Works well and I'll use it for hosting temporary videos that I archive from now on.
