He is receiving an injected combination of Aricept (donepezil), Ritalin (methylphenidate), and Namenda (memantine). Injected about 60 minutes before Xiden has to appear in public. High dosages of Ritalin produce the "Adderall Stare" look --- a side effect similiar to the way Thorazine (chlorpromazine) causes the person to shuffle his/her/zer/zim/they's feet and have tardive kenesia (involuntary chin and jaw movements).
After Xiden performs his puppet show, he is rushed away to be cared for as he is in a kind of toxic haze after use of the aforementioned drugs. When they wear off in about 4 hours, he will act like a zombie, urinate and defecate involuntarily and babble nonsense sentences ("sundowner's word salad"). They require at least 8 to 10 hours of sleep, usually aided by a heavy duty sleeping potion (Estazolam).

Yes it is only in much smaller doses. Also used for niggers before they go to trial so that they don't chimp out (usually).
