The "eggs are unhealthy" bullshit has been debunked multiple times. Better stick to partially hydrogenated vegetable oils though, right?

Your bitterness and pissyness may be due to an increase of arachidonic acid because your diet. Your body produces all the arachidonic acid you need with out the need to introduce it in a diet.1 It's used for helping fight off infection.

The data suggest that people with higher levels of this acid may end up at siginificantly higher risk of suicide and depression.2

Top 5 sources for arachidonic acid are chicken, eggs, beef, pork, and fish although chicken and eggs alone contribute more than the top other sources combined.3

Omnivores eat 9 times more arachidonic acid then plant based diets.4

Scientists did an interventional study and took subjects and changed their diets. They took people who ate meats to see what would happen with their moods. Within 2 weeks the study subjects experienced a significant improvement of their mood stars. 5 The researchers concluded "Perhaps eating less meat can help protect mood in omnivores, particularly important in those susceptible to affective disorders[such as depression]. 6
