I think that's why Boomers are so despised. Boomer's parents were deceived and there was nothing they could do.
Boomers, however, were deceived but then given access to all the information in the world and they chose to believe the lies that had been told to them.

Thats exactly what my father told me when I asked him what a boomer was, in 1986.
For the record, he said it was true, but he didnt say 'chose to believe' he instead made it seem like they had lacked a required disgust for deceit.
Its kinda strange coming here and being forced to re-evaluate which dad-lessons were Politically Corrected half-warnings. Pops was a pretty hip old man.
