Regardless of what your fetish is, normal or abnormal, talking about them at the family dinner table is weird and wrong and just plain unsettling. That his fetish is something so degenerate just paints his actions as either a subtly self-aware cry for help or, more likely, a degenerate seeking attention and validation.
