Pointing at something and making fun of it, in accusation, does not normalize, but highlight. I accuse them of being pedos. That the comment was painted with mocking humour does not frame it as normal, but as another layer of absurdity on an already too deep cake in opposition to what is being presented as normal. The tranny is presented as normal in the news article. I mock them, asserting that they are not, and build on the ridiculousness of it all. Insert your own punchline regarding clown world here. I guess the disconnect is that I see the rule as reading like it's against making jokes about kid diddling, which I get. A joke that is supposed to be funny on the concept that it is about kid diddling, where diddling kids is the punchline, would be degenerate, disgusting, unfunny, and a rather hard sell given the inhabitants of this site. What I did was make a joke wherein I framed a character who is the target of ridicule as, among other things, a kid diddler. Because I hate them, and what they represent, and jokes aside they really should not be around children because the mockery has a good chance of being accurate.
