They embrace the title because to them it means something completely different. If they embraced communism as we know it there would be no independent buisnesses or property. All homes would be state owned and assigned to citizens. Same with all property like cars. Communism here is built on the concept of equity. Everyone earns exactly the same regardless of anything they do. That does not resemble china at all.
