The discussions for this on Photonix was interesting. Coupled with the push to Wayland, I see where their project is trying to go. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out. It'll be at least 5 years before the "stable" distros follow suit. I know Ubuntu tried to end 32 bit support a few years back and it did not end well for them. Maybe it'll stick this time? Who knows.

Wayland and it's why it'll kill nvidia since it has 32 bit packages with the 64 bit ones I see when I do a Manjaro system update using pamac the 32 bit ones are quite large also. Maybe this will push Nvidia to go full 64 bit and be workable with Wayland unless the gpu's are so cheap "low quality" they cannot do it because of shortcuts in hardware for speed. This will be interesting to watch either way. Redhat will likely also be doing this or already have it Fedora is doing it now.

I'd laugh and enjoy the show too except I'm on Nvidia and can't afford to switch
