I just spent the last 8 hours fixing issues caused by system.d services not allowing and improperly redirecting *.local domains on my private. local network. The .local TLD is specifically FOR this use case: https://iili.io/Fh12l0N.png (yes jewgle, this is one of the things jewgle is good for, it's completely impersonal and pure factual) (also I don't know if I can upload images for submission text use, so free image host it is.)

all major distributions magically agree to use systemd and wayland

The entry point is from redhat, wayland I dunno. I think this PC uses wayland DE right now.

I'm ok with that. I loved every windows prior to XP. XP jumped the shark.
