I just need to find somewhere to buy that epoxy in Aus (this is often harder than it should be). Looks like it will cost about $100 for a 50ml jar of it, so I hope I don't fuck it up. Also might be all but impossible to remove.

Yeah, I was wondering myself how hard it’d be to remove if need be. The principal of the solid all around contact over shims seems sound though. Not to mention an easier method, especially by ones self. The working time to get’r done seems reasonable enough. Get’n an idea of which way it’ll need to go beforehand would probably be a good idea. I think I’d give it a go!
