You under estimate people's ability to get drunk on illusion. It's an amazing talent, somehow I escaped its sinister effect. Not to say illusion doesn't effect me. Like an alcoholic, I recognize my susceptibility to such things and I resist the temptation to indulge in the euphoria it offers. I amuse myself by triggering cognitive dissonance when I see others who are intoxicated by illusion.
