Why do whites not care if they are called a cracker ? Because they are happy being white.
Blacks don't like to be black, they feel it's inferior and do not like it to be reminded about it, so any pc or legit word today will be racist tomorrow.
Replace black with gay/queer/etc and racist with the appropriate bad word this year and it applies.
