Yes because one of the foundations of social structure is based on being able to read emotional cues about other people’s mental states by reading their faces and by seeing their hands.

When you can’t see their faces and hands, you cannot trust them.

Putting words into user's mouths, which means making them appear like they wrote something they never actually did, especially on sensitive posts, is one of the greatest violations of user trust possible.
