States have to start somewhere though, and at least this is a step in the right direction. A lot of red states also banned the FBI and ATF from enforcing the law. This mess wont be fixed overnight, it will take years before a plan and actual solution that helps citizens will materialize.

As of now, I don't see people accepting that federal agencies are the problem. They are saying they don't like the executive orders and direction. Sure that is a problem, but it isn't the root of the problem. We can't solve a problem if it isn't even being identified.

I would say people will identify the problem when the ATF becomes unhinged. However, you cant really do that until states curtail the power of the federal govt. My theory is the feds are losing, and like an animal backed into a corner, they are most dangerous now vs 20 years prior

A problem here is the right is still very pro police state. They won't blame the agency itself as a problem.
