They just don't like the fact that companies are leaving so, because they are petulant morons who don't think, they downvote you because they don't like it.
A normal, emotionally adjusted adult, would upvote your comment - even though they didn't like it - as thanks for bringing it to their attention because it is something folks should know about if they cared.
It's like upvoting a murder news story where the murderer got away from the police. Sure, you don't like the story but you upvote it to bring attention to it.
