I found a stat that suggested 25 Billion doses are sold per year. Say half of those are taken, 12.5 billion. That gives about 1 death per 25,000,000 doses. That's pretty low. Aspirin is a lot higher.
Also consider suicides.
You mean suicides using the medication?
Yeah if I recall it's tylenol that is much more effective for OTC pill suicide than asprin.
Aspirin is consumed 58 billion doses per year.
