So yeah many of them can afford to be selective, because, they not only can work form home, they aren't dependant on their geographical location, they can work for german clients while living in portugal for instance

First off, this post is about the jobless, not about people working at home.
Second, sure, there are plenty of people working at home as webdevs or the like. And yeah, they also have lots of time supporting the causes they're supposed to support.
Thing is, when the New World Order arrives, they'll be "improving efficiency" and "consolidating choices", removing the need for most of those webdevs and other similar service jobs. Guess what? They'll be picking beans too!

I think you wayyyy underestimate how quickly technology will fall apart once the oligarchs come out in the open. Machines will pick beans so long as they're kept in repair. With a bunch of idle hands doing bupkus being fed either they'll be tossed out into the fields to do the work the busted machines were doing - or they'll be killed off wholesale.
