I don't care. Being on the internet for so long makes you have a thick-skin, unlike some (((Ruqqus admins))). I still appreciate the criticism, it will probably help me improve.

Noted, perhaps in the future, I'll come back to this project and revise it. It was my first time in a new video editor and such a big project as this for me, so obviously there will be room for improvement. Perhaps, in the future.

PDF is still available for reading and the evidence is all still there for examination. That's what I mostly care about, that's there's at least a spotlight on (((Ruqqus))) being the festering shithole it is.

you just need to run a compressor over the vocal track, bring it forward, and turn down the music. its a relatively easy fix. it sounds like you probably mixed it in headphones.

whats happening is the music has been mastered, and your voice has not... - the music's been run through all sorts of compression - making the softer parts louder, taking up essentially all of the frequency spectrum compared to your voice, and making it sound way too far "forward"

stick a compressor on your vocal track, and then put one on the master output also - set it to really soft limiting, and it'll "glue" everything together.

Thanks for posting.

I checked out all the recommended spots after voat announced closure, and none of them seemed practical as an alternative. Ruqqus and discord are prone to censorship, and even telegram etal will need to censor eventually.

I think a lot of the spirit of voat moved here with the new subs and new comments, making it my most likely hangout.
