I interpreted that as "If a banned user has no public posts and comments, their username will be changed. Otherwise, they will retain their original name". But yes, they did screw this one up.

Maybe @ Mysterious101Own should try tagging one of the admins there. Then we'll know if they saw the post and chose not to respond.

That sounds like a good idea. So you'd have a nickname that's publicly displayed (maybe even varying from guild to guild) as well as a unique identifier (username/id)?
That's what I had in mind, yes. Similar to how Twitter and Gab do nicknames.
Also, their search system broke. Searching for keywords in specific guilds doesn't work.
I believe I encountered that as well.
