One of the co-owners bitched about how too many people posted about "race and jews" and it made them sad to close the site because 'hate' is bad but they are libertarians who don't believe in censorship.

His post was so bias it is laughable. Instead of engaging with the merit of the content he just shut it all down.

Good riddance to them.

Most libertarians are just deluded fools who typically abandon their ideals of freedom as soon as they realize that they will not be in charge. Just about every libertarian I have met were in fact closet authoritarians once they realize people have differnt viewpoints than them.

Yes... but a 'real libertarian view' is very different from the reality of the views of people who self identify as libertarian. Most self identified 'libertarians' want everyone to make their own choices and be masters of their own destiny... as long as they make the RIGHT choices and do the RIGHT things.

But given that liberalism was infiltrated subverted and now the opposite of its original ideology then it makes sense similar would happen to libertarianism

Libertarianism is kind of a joke anyway, it only works in a utopian, 100% ethnically homogeneous high trust society. And you can't have that without having an authoritarian ethnocentric society to create those conditions if you don't already have them, and it's super easy to subvert if you are already in that state (ex. see the USA for an example of this actually happening lol).
