Because they require a login since a few months, here is the entire post:

You have reached your daily comment quota. Your current quota is 1 comment(s) per 24 hours.

I know it is supposed to prevent spam, but a posting+commenting quota of once per 24 hours is very irrational, and very discouraging to new users, of which most are legitimate.

If I have 5 replies to my post, I need to wait 5 days instead of 2 minutes for having replied to all of them.

I have seen users leaving Voat.co for Poal.co, just because of that.

Even a quota of 1 post per hour is terrible, but much better than 24 hours.

That posting quota is no better than an temporary auto-ban, and it happens no matter whether the user is legitimate or not.

Reddit allows new users to post once per 10 minutes, which is much more acceptable. But Reddit is evidently full of other issues.

  • What is the reason for this posting limit?
  • Will it be changed in future?

I hope you appreciate my feedback.

The system worked fine for everybody else. Why should it change for you?

Obviously, I am only able to reply to it in 24 hours:

That's a false assumption. You don't hear from those who have a problem with it. Also, it should change not just for me, but for every new user.

The biography of

"I'm a dick."

His username describes him pretty well too. Ignorant and scandalous.
