Voat may have a nice, detailed user interface, but they also impose pointless and hostile limitations onto new users.

They don't even give new users a mere chance to flourish.

These posting limitations rely on a logical fallacy, because if somebody actually posts bad content, it will get downvoted into oblivion anyway.

If someone actually intended to spam Voat, they would create one account after another.

Therefore, those posting limitations are nearly pointless and their harm outweighs their good.

Voat.co is even more restrictive than Reddit in this regard. But at least, they don't shadowban and shadow-delete.

The poalr bear is much more welcoming than the goat.

that seems rather generous, really.

What do you consider averagely generous?

A half-eaten box of cracker jacks missing it's toy from around 1978 or so.

Interesting.

But what do you consider averagely generous in terms of post throttling on Voat?
